From our ingredients to our packaging, Come Clean aims to be transparent (literally) in all aspects of our water-based lubricant. Some brands take the road of hiding or grouping ingredients on their labels which can sometimes mislead customers, but we’re not about that. You deserve to know each and every ingredient that goes into our water-based lubricant so you can feel confident to use a personal care product on your personal bits that really is clean and natural and made to take care of you.

Our roots.

A romantic holiday to a tropical location is what led to the creation of Come Clean. After discovering a magical bottle of personal lubricant that made the trip orgasmic-ally good, our founder was on a mission to find a similar product back in New Zealand after getting down to the very last drop.

What started as a simple translation of the ingredients to English turned into something much bigger. While our founder didn’t find the same lubricant in New Zealand, she did find a worryingly long list of ingredients that left her feeling confused. Glycerine? Silicone? What were these strange ingredients that seemed to be in so many bottles of lubricant?

After months of research, we were shocked to learn that so many of the lubricants we were putting on our most intimate and delicate areas weren’t as harmless as thought. They were filled with unnatural ingredients, funky fragrances and fillers that could lead to reactions such as yeast infections, irritation, and even damage to sex toys.

After months of research, testing, and trialing, Come Clean was created.
